She was...

the kind of girl who falls asleep in random places
who falls down frequently
thinks her friends hate her secretly
calls her mom just to talk
eats an entire box of brown sugar and cinnamon Pop-Tarts in one sitting
cuts her own hair
likes to wear knee socks
will give you her last cigarette
sobs uncontrollably at the Christian Children's Fund commercials
can't drink plain water
wishes she had green eyes instead of hazel
hates the laughter of hate
feels guilty about drinking soda
doesn't like little dogs but adores massive ones

I always end up writing about myself...I was trying for a different girl, but all of these qualities describe me- now you all know a few of my odd quirks (believe me, there are many)

Well, you know, they say to write what you know best. I would hope by now you know yourself pretty well. ;o)

This poem doesn't make me angry or disgusted or embarrassed to know you so I'd say it's pretty good. The tense throws me off a little, though. It's called "She was..." which is past tense but all of the lines are in present tense. Of course, I'm likely looking at it from more a non-poem standard as poetry sort of escapes me most times so therefore have no idea what the hell I'm talking about so take it with a grain of salt. ;o)
